The San Diego Chargers lost to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, 38-45. The Chargers move to 4-4 on the year, and still retain a tie for the AFC West lead.
The Packers’ stout defensive front was projected to be a challenge for the Chargers’ offensive line, and they didn’t disappoint. The offensive line recorded their lowest run blocking grades this season (as a group). It was apparent, throughout the game, that Green Bay’s defensive tackles were going big and strong, and were going to be difficult to block.
Louis Vasquez ended the day with a 94% assignment score in pass protection and a +3 power score. Of all the offensive lineman, he was victimized the least, and came away from the game with more “wins” in the trenches than his defender…which can be seen by his dominance score..
