The Kansas City Chiefs get a win against the Chicago Bears, 10-3. The Chiefs improve to 5-7 on the year, while the Chicago Bears drop to 7-5.
In this weekly article, Pro Football Spotlight will bring you the blocking performances of the recent Chiefs, as well as some additional data. For example: Did you know that Dexter McCluster was used by the Chiefs in some pass protection packages and ended the day with an 83% pass blocking assignment grade?
Let’s take a look at the those blocking grades…

Pass Blocking Notes:
- At 2:57 in the 1st quarter, Dexter McCluster is not in a good position to help Barry Richardson with pass protection. Because he is out of place, he cannot prevent the sack that results from Barry getting beat around the edge.

- McCluster does pick up a nice blitz at 1:32 in the 2nd quarter, however.
- Just about all the running backs and tight ends do some good pass blocking, this week. I really like the blocking of Anthony Becht. He does a good job in pass protection and gets some movement in the run game without letting the defender get free too often after engaging.
